Our principals have more than 20 years corporate finance experience advising clients on buying and selling companies and raising and investing money. David and Justin established Springboard Corporate Finance to meet the increasing demands of entrepreneurs, small and medium sized corporates for independent corporate finance advice.

Justin Sparks
Justin is a founding Director and has over 12 years corporate finance experience and investing experience helping clients to buy and sell companies and raise funding.

Justin qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhouse in 1995 and joined Ernst & Young's corporate finance team in 1996. After working at a leading private equity firm in the Midlands, Justin returned to lead and manage the "Big Four" accountancy firm's Mergers & Acquisition team in Birmingham before founding Springboard Corporate Finance in 2005.

Justin has led a wide variety of corporate finance transactions randing in size and in various sectors including manufacturing, wholesale, retail, printing, support services, leisure and IT.

In addition, Justin is a non executive director at a number of privately owned companies.

David Neate
David is a founding Director and has over 10 years corporate finance experience.

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand before joining Ernst & Young's corporate finance team in 1998. In 2001, David undertook a secondment with Bridgepoint Capital, a leading mid market venture capitalist. David was responsible for the East Midlands market place and deal origination for the "Big Four" accountancy firm's Mergers & Acquisition team in Birmingham before founding Springboard Corporate Finance.

David has led a wide variety of corporate finance transactions both buying and selling privately owned companies of all sizes and across a range of sectors.

Since forming Springboard, David has completed transactions in the Logistics, Retail, Travel and General Engineering sectors. David also acts as a non executive Director in an investee company.
